T-Mobile / Phoebus Puerto Rico renewable energy agreement
T-Mobile has signed an agreement with The Phoebus Fund for a future solar project in Puerto Rico designed to match 100% of T-Mobile’s local electricity use with renewable energy, supported by renewable energy certificates.
The project remains in early development and is expected to leverage Puerto Rico’s Wheeling Program. The proposed project would use Phoebus’ patented Solargation®™ technology to generate solar power while supporting agricultural use.
Planning is guided by Phoebus’ agriculture advisory board, reinforcing the company’s focus on renewable energy infrastructure that can preserve and enhance productive agricultural land.
